This is a very nice, antique Singer Model 221-1 portable electric sewing machine. The serial number stamped on the bottom is AH055075. This dates it back to being manufactured in 1947. I have plugged it in and operated the variable speed footswitch and it works fine. I cannot guarantee the quality of the stitching. The light works and this comes with a whole bunch of accessories. Please check out the pictures carefully as they will give you a better idea of what is included than I can. Please note that the scotch tape on top of the machine is just holding the thread in one place so as not to unravel all over the place. The carrying case is in very good vintage condition.
