Found in the garage in a box of stuff at an estate sale. The lady running the sale said this came from her grandfathers model T FORD. In all probability she made the usual assumption that all old Fords are model T's. T's had the 3 pedal system for shifting and didn't have a gear shift knob. The circular tag that fits in the bottom that is written with fountain pen and dated 1932 would make this either an older model A or a newer model B
