Jewelled and enamelled Sevres porcelain cup and saucer, which is superbly painted with battle scenes on a dark blue ground. The saucer is marked to the base with crossed LLs in blue.
The set is decorated with elaborate gilding and jewelling of rubies, pearls and turquoise.
