This is a quality antique French classic gong striking carriage clock which has a brass classically designed case which is in great condition for age with a stunning original finish. The clock features a bevelled edge glass pane on either side also with one to the front and a pane to the top through which you can see the platform escapement with its superb action working away. At the back it has a pivot hinged bevelled edged glazed door to gain access to the movement, on top there is a solid brass carry handle
The Clock Measures - 6.75 inches high x 3.75 inches wide x 3.25 inches deep
Dial
The clock has a porcelain enamel dial which has roman numerals, the clock has its original hands and is in good clean condition protected by the glazed front panel, the dial is signed J. Bryson Paris
Movement
The movement is a quality French 8 day gong striking movement with a platform escapement, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking as it should and comes with a winding key
