Carl Zeiss Jena Delfort 18x50 Extremely Rare Binoculars WWI Era

This is a great pair of WWI Carl Zeiss Jena Delfort Binoculars 18x50. Serial # 1415879. Now Extremely rare and very collectible.  It is complete with it's original, removable, tripod mounting bracket attachment and leather neckstrap. The mounting bracket is spring loaded and is easily removed and replaced. The leather neckstrap is perfect. Also included is a leather carrying case that is old and weathered, but not original to the piece. Both eye adjusters are working smoothly, and the lenses are in good shape. The view is sharp and clear. There are scratches and fleabites on the flat metal surfaces where the name and serial number are, as pictured.  Otherwise, the entire piece in in very good antique condition with minor wear from age and use, as would be expected.  I believe this model was manufactured from 1914-1919. Likely used in WWI and WWII. Measures 11 1/2" tall. This is a rare find in very good condition considering they are almost 100 years old.
