Circa 1930 silver spoon made from solid silver with a painted enamel bowl of the Egyptian pyramids and
a Sphynx and a hinged sarcophagus finial containing a bound mummy. It is hallmarked on the back with
a 'fir tree' and the letters L.B (I think?) and another mark which I cannot make out? but it acid tests for
sterling silver and the sarcophagus has a gold gilt interior. There is a little bit of tarnishing to the silver
but this could be easily polished out if you wanted.
The spoon is in very good condition with no damage to the enamel or the sarcophagus or the mummy inside
which is also silver. Measures 5.25" (132mm) long overall and sarcophagus is 28mm tall. Weighs 16 grammes.
