Antique Chinese very rare and fine quality Dish, one of the best works of art i have handled, a stunning bold and thick carved cinnabar lacquer Dish carved with a sprawling and intricate scene of a fine palace complex with Buildings, Bridges and numerous people amongst trees against a fine background of geometric patterns, the outer border carved with stylised Dragons flying amongst clouds, to the reverse we see another border of plants in bloom, the entire bottom is carefully carved with mind blowing intricate geometric patters, finally at the centre a gilt engraved Qing six character mark, the object has an outer bronze rim to protect the edges, beautiful, elegant, refined.
